Francisco Cerundro defeats Tommy Paul to win Queen title

LONDON – Seventh seed Francisco Cerundro of Argentina defeated former champion Tommy Paul 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-3 to win the Queen’s closing on Sunday.

Cerundro gained on his fifth match level at Andy Murray Area to assert his second title of the 12 months. That is the second time in his profession on turf since Eastbourne in 2023, and the fifth in complete.

Paul, the 2024 champion, was seeded eighth and was aiming for his sixth profession title. It was his sixth loss in eight matches towards Cerundro.

The ATP 500 occasion in London serves as a tune-up for the grass-court Grand Slam, Wimbledon, which begins on June twenty ninth.
