Dani Holgado has been confirmed as the primary rookie on the 2027 MotoGP grid.

The 21-year-old Spaniard, who at the moment sits sixth within the Moto2 standings, shall be a part of the all-new Gresini Ducati line-up alongside Joan Mir subsequent season.

Holgado, who completed runner-up to David Alonso within the 2024 Moto3 World Championship, made his Moto2 debut alongside Alonso at Aspar final season, successful two races and ending sixth within the standings.
